NIS: Ypcat doesn't work.

I've set up NIS on a new network according to the Debian NIS HowTo
(http://lyre.mit.edu/~powell/debian-howto/nis.html). When I set up my old
network (which was RPM based), I could type "ypcat passwd" from a client
system, and it would type the password file. How come when I do that on a
new system, I get:

No such map passwd.byname. Reason: No such map in server's domain

From what I can tell, the default setup is to include the /etc/passwd file
(along with others).

Thanks.

Hal
