Here again my problem :
y try to install Sarge kernel 2.6.8 on Dell 2850 with megaraid card. The problem is that it doesn't reconize the RAID card. It loads the driver for megaraid instead of megaraid2.
The RAID card is a PERC 4E/DI.
Does someone have a solution for it ?
(i googled for that but without result)
So i thougt to install Sarge with kernel 2.4.X (it reconize the card and loads the good driver) and then recompile it into 2.6.8. But i read that i must care of modutils.
What exactly have i to do to pass from kernel 2.4.x to 2.6.x (what do i have to take care of when recompiling)?
