Though familiar with the "basic steps", I was hoping there was a
"magic" command that could do it in place.

There isn't enough room for /mnt/some-temp-space/reiserfs-data.tgz on
some of my drives.  I know I can use a "tar pipe" to move each file
system's contents to another system.  But again, the lazy so-and-so
that I am was (as usual) trying to do minimal work.  ;-)

I do appreciate your posting ... talk about lazy ... you've already
taken the time to list the explicit steps ... not even any need for
"memory effort" ... less work for me!
