Thanks for your support, Markus! I'll do as you say, & add some 
documentation

I got some great help from the kernel-package maintainer, but am still 
struggling with the required snd-hwdep.ko module - still struggling to 
manually add "CONFIG_SND_HWDEP=m" to my kernel .config

Did you finally succeed in loading snd-bt-sco.ko? How's it working for 
you?
