ALSA configuration for recording
Hello,
I am trying to configure my IBM T20 laptop to use ALSA. Everything seems
in order as far as sound playing, but I don't seem to be able to record
any sound.I have set my recording to mic and capture (see appendice for
details). When i activate playback from mike, i get playback sound, but
when i try to record from the mike, (for instance with arecord), I just
get a long mute soundfile. I have checked everything I can think of. I
don't understand this and if anyone could help, i would be very grateful.
