strange kernel (2.6.10) messages during boot

hello all,
after upgrading from woody (2.4.24 and backport kde 3.1.2) to sarge and from
2.4.24 to 2.6.10 I am seeing strange messages.

During boot I see these messages, logged in /var/log/boot:
Sun Jan 30 20:22:20 2005: fsck 1.35 (28-Feb-2004)
Sun Jan 30 20:22:20 2005: /dev/hda1: clean, 283922/3515680 files,
2642946/7030437 blocks
Sun Jan 30 20:22:20 2005: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
tmpfs,
Sun Jan 30 20:22:20 2005: or too many mounted file systems
[cut]
Sun Jan 30 19:22:21 2005: Mounting local filesystems...
Sun Jan 30 19:22:21 2005: Cleaning /tmp /var/run /var/lock.
Sun Jan 30 19:22:21 2005: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on
tmpfs,
Sun Jan 30 19:22:21 2005: or too many mounted file systems
[cut]
Sun Jan 30 19:22:25 2005: Loading the saved-state of the serial devices...
Sun Jan 30 19:22:25 2005: /dev/ttyS0: No such device or address
Sun Jan 30 19:22:25 2005: /dev/ttyS0: No such device or address

I have root partition on hda1 under ext3 filesystem and swap on hda3:
everything seems to be mounted normally and the system apparently runs
normally. I cannot explain why it is reported a mount error.
Furthermore, in 2.6.10 I cannot see any option on general serial devices
configuration, so I cannot explain the serial device error, too. This is what
I get from the system:
# ls -l /dev/ttyS0
crw------- 1 root root 4, 64 2004-10-27 14:15 /dev/ttyS0
and this is my /etc/fstab:
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
/dev/hda1 / ext3 errors=remount-ro 0 1
/dev/hda3 none swap sw 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/fd0 /floppy auto user,noauto 0 0
/dev/cdrom /cdrom iso9660 ro,user,noauto 0 0
/dev/sda1 /mnt/removable auto user,noauto 0 0

Any ideas?
