You have 2 DVD drives?  /dev/hdb and /dev/hdd, for example?

Using a pipe should work.  Something like:
$ dd bs=2048 if=$SRCDRV | cdrecord -v dev=x,y,z -

(Don't trust me on the bs, though.)
