Kernel 2.6 from Debian testing with support for tg3 and 2G ram

I have a HP DL140 with dual P4 and 2G ram.
The Broadcom netcard needs the tg3 kernel module.

Which kernel 2.6 for Debian testing should I use?
This:? kernel-image-2.6-686-smp

If so, should I just do this:
apt-get install kernel-image-2.6-686-smp
then reboot.

I currently use kernel-image-2.4.26-2-686-smp
