cdrecord not recognizing a pure SCSI cdrw?

Hi all!

After waiting for kernel 2.6.9 to fix my problem with my Adaptec 29160
controller, I have found that now it seems that cdrecord is unable to
recognize my Plextor SCSI burner. I can't understand what is going on or
how to solve it, so any help is appreciated. Here is the output of dmesg
and cdrecord -scanbus:

dmesg:

Up to here everything seems fine... the following modules are loaded:

but then, trying to detect the drive:

And I have not managed to make the burner recognized! I can mount CD and
use the drive to read, but no way to make cdrecord work. Any ideas or
hints?

Thanks in advance!
