xserver-xfree86 : monitor out of sync

I just did a dist-upgrade, which resulted in my monitor
falling out of sync everytime I log out...

I have a Hansol 920D that worked perfectly before
the upgrade... I modified the XF86Config-4 file
to my specifications...

H is 30-96
V is 50-160

The XFree86.0.log doesn't show any errors at all

But whenever I log out, the monitor blacks out & shows that the horizontal
sync timing has dropped to 24.5 kHz.
