network & bandwidth optimization tool??

Hi,

I found MIMIX network1, that they say it is for Network & Bandwidth
Optimization, they claim it boosts your network by 700% !!????

Or simply it is not true?

If true, is there any open source project like this?

Does anybody have experience with this?
