since the parallel port is in a linux box ...  you dont need jetdirect ??

a reg parallel port is about $5-$20 ...
	( lots of surplus/used pc stores have um for $5

any pci-based parallel port should work
	- just watch out for the jumper setting for lpt0, lpt1, lpt2,...
