qmail: Remote host said: 554 too many hops, this message is looping (#5.4.6)
hi,
i finally managed to install qmail on my machine using the excellent
"life with qmail" guide. i am pretty sure i have installed it exactly
as the instructions.
in addition to the "default", i have installed qmail-pop3d,
checkpassword and i am using the Maildir format.
when i try to send a mail to <prash@prash.net> which i know is a
valid user since i am able to locally telnet to the pop3 port, here is
the failure notice i get back:

I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following

This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.
