Problems initializing root partition (Woody)

Morning all-

I used partition magic to create an extended partition that includes the
following:

- a primary Linux partition
- EXT2 FS partition for boot
- my swap

I set up my swap and EXT2 partition fine.  Its during the 'Initiate and
Mount' part of the Woody install I get an error when trying to initiate and
mount my primary ReiserFS primary Linux partition.

I've also tried to not have an extended partition encompassing my 3
aforementioned partitions. I've tried just creating another primary and two
logical partitions. That didn't work either.  Same error on the root
partition to be used.

I used Partition Magic to set it all up.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks.
