Hi, I've just installed sarge with the 'linux26' option using the new installer. I had to modprobe ide-core options="ide=nodma" because the installer would loose my cd-rom. Anyway I have a usb CD writer and so still need to use ide-scsi. My cd-rom was not seen by cdrecord so I ran modconf and sure enough ide-cd was loaded. I removed it using modconf, yet after a reboot its back. Can someone please tell me how to stop this module from loading? TIA Patrick
