I'll show you the bit I want to edit out:
begins...
present in the `icu' and `icu-locales` packages.
Package: fglrx-4.3.0-kernel-2.6.9
Status: purge ok not-installed
Priority: extra
Section: non-free/x11
Architecture: i386
Package: unrar
....continues
I want to remove the middle bit, related to fglrx-4.3.0-kernel-2.6.9.
Just chomp it out?
It also appears in status-old.
