I notice that via82cxxx_audio isn't loaded. Have you tried loading it via
modprobe before testing your sound?

> % cat /etc/modutils/sndconfig
> alias sound-slot-0 via82cxxx_audio

You seem to be missing an alias for snd-card-0 (which should also be for
via82cxxx_audio).
