Re: mutt suddenly won't attach files

I can do that, from the command line.  No problem.

So, you have the same problem!  It's never done this for me before a
few days ago!  It used to be the case that if I selected a directory,
it would just enter that directory and let me browse around the
filesystem, but if I selected a file, it would attach that file.  Now
it thinks the directories I'm selecting are the files I'm trying to
attach -- and I see it does for you, too!

I can do that, yes.  But more often than not, I haven't memorized the
entire path of the file I want to attach, and I want to browse to find
it.

That's precisely what I can't do -- select "..".  As you said yourself
above, when I select "..", it tells me:

Unable to attach /home/nori/Mail/..!
