apache2.conf content negotiation issue

Hi,
I have installed the Apache2 webserver and the documentation (apache2-doc).
Unfortunately, the Debian default configuration for the apache2 seems to be
broken regarding the content negotiation:

 E.g.: `http://localhost/doc/apache2-doc/manual/'

shows just the content of the type-map file.
Don't know how to fix this, do you?
