It's clean, simple looking, well spaced, and looks great in all
character based apps (mutt, slrn, vi(m), emacs, irssi, xterm, rxvt).
I use it light foreground on dark background:

Emacs*foreground:   wheat
Emacs*background:   black
Emacs*cursorColor:  green
Emacs.geometry:     104x46-92+36
Emacs*font:         -b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-normal-sans-10-100-75-75-m-60-iso8859-1
