There is the Captive NTFS utility (http://www.jankratochvil.net/project/captive/). It's not actively maintained anymore, but it appears to work. You do need a licensed copy of Windows XP to be able to use Captive as it makes use of a few Windows system files. I'm trying to get it to work with a Sarge install for a works "Backup/Restore & Virus Clean" workstation. I have the backup working, but Captive requires LUFS which is having a few problems with my install. I am holding out hope though...
