This is for the version 4 card I assume.

A friend of mine downloaded an rtl8180 RPM for kernel 2.4.20.  The 
module has to be force loaded into the Debian kernel because of the 
version difference.  He reports that it still crashes on occasion.  
For configuration he edited the wlanup and wlandown scripts and does
use waproamd.
