Re: KDE, GNOME, or XFree86 issue???
I guess you can try to use XF86Config in order to change your video setup.
Log as root and type XF86Config.
If you are using Suse you can use the Control Center from KDE and
setup your Video Card configuration.
Try to change the resolution to 800x600.
