You'll find gnome-system-monitor via a "apt-cache search gtop",
provided you have entries for testing or unstable in your sources.list
and updated your lists:

| $ apt-cache show gnome-system-monitor

| Description: Process viewer and system resource monitor for GNOME 2
|  This package allows you to graphically view and manipulate the running
