provided _nothing_ by way of information as to:
* Which Window Manager/Desktop Environment you're using.
* Which application you're using.
If you can't manage this, then we're in trouble, as it makes trying to
answer your question rather difficult. You can do it using -geometry, only
if the application supports it.
