After a little more experimentation, I discovered that I can run Fluxbox
after all, so for now, TED is going to be my RTF editor. The only
problem I'm having with TED is the fact that the Tool Menu and other
various menus come up 800x600, but I am currently limited to
640x480/4-Bit color, (even though I know that this laptop can at least
do 640x480/8-Bit color) until I can figure out how to get a video
driver for the CLGD6245. This wouldn't be a problem, except that I
can't find any way to actually close the menu windows or scroll up to
the windows' tool bars. Is there any file I can configure for TED that
will make these windows come up in 640x480?
As for the CD Player, I will stick with cdcd and tcd for now.
