This is not the location of your kernel headers; it's a best guess by
vmware, but it's wrong.

You must install the kernel-headers-2.4.27-1-686 package, then you tell
vmware that your kernel headers are in

  /usr/src/kernel-headers-2.4.27-1-686/include
