it means your cdrom is talking at ata-33 speeds and your
disks are talking at ata-100 or ata-133 and your cdrom ( hdd ) keeps
asking everybody to slow down so it can catch up to the ide commands being
issued

- move the cdrom/dvd to an ide cable all by itself ..
	- one drive per ide cable ..  or you will be transfering data at
	the spped of the slowest device on the cable

if hdd was a hard disks... you're disk is probably dying...
