2.6.7 + Palm problems

Having problems with 2.6.7, hopefully someone can help.

I have USB1.1 on the motherboard, but I bought a Belkin USB2.0 card a month
ago. USB2.0 hub plugged into the USB2 card. Upgraded to 2.6.7 a week ago.

My problem is that my Palm Tungsten E doesn't want to sync. My SD card reader,
my Archos Recorder and my USB stick all work fine hanging off of the hub, but
the Palm does not. Originally (yesterday in the morning) I got:

Jul 20 07:57:00 defiant usbmgr[795]: USB device isn't matched the
configuration

However, that night I was getting:

Jul 20 21:01:45 defiant kernel: usb 1-3.3: new full speed USB device using
addre
ss 9
Jul 20 21:01:50 defiant kernel: usb 1-3.3: control timeout on ep0out

address 10
Jul 20 21:02:01 defiant kernel: usb 1-3.3: control timeout on ep0out

And the address it was trying to use would increment each time. I recompiled
my kernel two days ago because I was having problems with modules loading,
and I use USB often enough that I wanted to have it available without having
to load modules by hand.

Suggestions?
