post the contents of /etc/ntp.conf ( in its entirety )

grep ^Sserver /etc/ntp.conf ( if one just wants to see the list of ntp
servers)

what is the output of
	ntptrace -dv <ntp-server>

other ntp commands that might tell you stuff
