Thanks.  With this info, I went looking for a backport and found it
with:

  deb http://www.gonkgonk.com/mirrors/backports.org/debian woody libxml2

> [1] (Search on packages.debian.org didn't come up with anything in stable.)

I was on the search page earlier and it said the Debian search was
down (again).
