I've erroneously asked dselect to install many packages which entail the download of an incredible amount of other dependent packages (something like 600 MB of stuff), as I can see asking to install. Now I don't want all this to happen but don't know how to get back, I mean how, using dselect (or in case apt-get), to deselect all those packages automagically selected. Any suggestion? Vittorio
