Gnome startup hang in debian sarge 2.4
hi,
I've installed a sarge in both labtop and vmware, it has kernel version 2.4.25-1-386, I tried installed gnome common 2.4.0-2 and gnome-core v50 packages into these machines and it works fine, without . But after I added gnome-desktop-environment v50 packages the desktop can't start, just show gnome startup menu and hang there.
Does anybody know what's matter or where to look at some logs after reboot to single user mode? syslog and messages doesn't say sth. important.
