Broken Gnome on upgrade
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I've just run apt-get update && apt-get upgrade and it seams to have
broken gnome. When you login at the gdm it comes up with an error of
"Your prefered session type GDM_Failsafe. Gnome desktop is not installed
on this machine. Do you wish to make Failsafe Gnome the default?"
If you click through the menu, it loads a failsafe version of Gnome.
Gnome was working fine before I update and upgraded, so Gnome was
installed, unlike the error message said.
I've googled and not found any thing on this, I have also tried to
dpkg-reconfigure gnome, but that doesn't seam to do any think. Please
can some one help me out, this is really anoying me.
Thanks
James
