GDM now reads session files out of /etc/dm/Sessions/ Here is mine for WindowMaker (it is called wmaker.desktop): [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 # The names/descriptions should really be better Name=WindowMaker Session Comment=This will start the WindowMaker window manager.
