Glenn,

Look at the several dozen open bug reports on print problems with
mozilla and consider another browser:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?pkg=mozilla-browser

I had fatal print problems with my HP 5L and CUPS with mozilla, but
firebird works. (I haven't yet upgraded to firefox.)
