default icons lost in gnome on desktop

Hi,


For some reason, I seemed to have lost the icons that come with gnome. I 
get the "user's home" icone, and two others "Home" and "No Name". The 
icons for the last two are like the gnome symbol (foot) on a sheet of 
paper. Suggestion on how I can get the defult icons on my desk top back 
on gnome? Or even getting the whol edefault desktop back?

Running Sarge 2.4.24.
