I registered for the NYT once (though I have since forgotten my
login). Oddly enough, even lying on the form, I got a phone call from
the NYT letting me know that they noticed I registered online recently
and begged me to subscribe to a daily newspaper from a city five days
driving away. NYT: Stupid and intrusive. No thanks.
