How long has this condition existed? Perhaps wait until Exim is done?

If you think it's hung, you could always kill the pid process. One way,
is to run top as root, and kill the process, using the pid #.

Hopefully, you don't need to do that, though, and _hopefully_ it's just
a case of waiting until that process is finished.
