Re: LDAP tutorial?



Hi.

Yesterday I was reading  the "LDAP Implementation Cookbook",
a "red  book" by IBM  (available online). I've  been reading
about LDAP for  a few days because I have  to decide whether
we will use LDAP or not at work.

I  think it's  kinda hard  to  deploy LDAP  because all  the
background information you  need to have. Geting  it to work
is not enough. I don't want to shoot myself in the foot with
an insecure configuration.

One is  tempted to  write a custom  directory, but  it seems
that LDAP is the way to go  and it will pay off later. Now I
have to sell the idea ...
