Reading logs - message from syslogd
Im running the 2.6.0-1-k7 kernel with debian unstable and
today I find messages like these have been written to the eterm
window I had left open:

I'm thinking this is fairly important, what logs to you monitor
on your systems and where do you go to decipher the meanings?
