Fortunately, I'm running a dual boot system with 3 different OS's (If 
you include AmigaOS - by far my most complete environment) - so I was 
able to get online using an alternative.

A bit of a nuisance having to repeatedly reboot to a different OS - but 
that's the price we pay.

Never mind - I'm back now.
