Hi debian quanta packets, I am going to install the new 2.4.24 kernel from my old 2.4.21. I was thinking that sometimes the name of kernel modules either change, split in 2 or get combined on a rare occasion. But /etc/modules, etc. exists as one file. But there are different dir trees for kernel modules. So, if a kernel modules for 2.2 is blarg and its name becomes foo in 2.4 and you wanted to boot 2.2 one day and 2.4 another, how would you setup your system to allow this? waiting for incoming, Kev
