Ultimately I pulled the Hi, Emma. It worked for me, i.e. I entered the very address you can see above in the headers, submitted the form, and I received a confirmation request some time afterwards. I was using one of the text browsers in Debian (lynx/links (ugh, ugly.)/w3m), probably, or just mmmaybe, the Galeon. I was subscribing just few days ago.
