 Greetings!  You want to convert from one type to another? 

 In my experiance the best way I have found so far is to 
 set up a second account pointing to the imap server and 
 copy the messages from one account ( old POP ) to the 
 ( new IMAP ) other.

 Your server or ISP mail server must support IMAP.

 This works for me,
