Which means, of course, if you move the physical location of the system
map or the kernel, you'd better rerun lilo, because it's not going to know
where things are on the next boot, and this tends to lead to a lot of
whining and crying (you, not lilo).

For instance, not that anyone would do this (and *please don't*):

cp -a /boot /boot-new
rm -fr /boot
mv /boot-new /boot
reboot

Then, if you're a cluebie, go to another computer and post an HTML message
to debian-user saying "lilo doesn't work in woody/sarge/sid, it was
working yesterday, this never happened with Red Hat/Suse/FreeBSD, should I
file a bug report?" and everyone will be delighted to help you :>
