I reconfigured X "xf86config" and
restarted gdm "/etc/init.d/gdm restart

Check if XFree is installed. Do

apt-get install x-window-system-core

That should install everything you need to run XFree.
Thank !
How do you know the name x-window-system-core ?
"apt-cache dump" shows more "windows" name ...
Now the Version installed is XFree86 V. 4.1.0.1

To install the last (4.3.0) do I get all the
linux-ix86-glibc22 <http://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86/4.3.0/binaries/Linux-ix86-glibc22/>
from ftp.xfree86.org or
is there an "apt-get" which makes the work for me - I'm a lazy guy to type all the names -:)

Best regards.
