I found this very useful:

Unfortunately the package names are a little out of date. Anything htat
has "php" in it should be changed to php4. e.g. php-mysql -> php4-mysql

My personal notes on the page say I installed mysql-server, php4,
php4-mysql and apache. This corresponds to the section "For PHP with
Apache".
