apt-get dist-upgrade w/ testing and unstable in sources.list

Hello

I've got a sarge/testing system with testing and unstable source in
/etc/apt/sources.list, since I use some packages from unstable as well.
/etc/apt/apt.conf contains the line:

  APT::Default-Release "testing";

Now, when I do 'apt-get -u dist-upgrade', it tells me:

  The following packages have been kept back
    samba samba-common smbclient smbfs

an 'apt-show-versions -a -p samba' says:

  samba   2.2.3a-12.3     install ok installed
  samba   2.2.3a-12       testing
  samba   3.0.0beta1-1    unstable
  samba/unstable upgradeable from 2.2.3a-12.3 to 3.0.0beta1-1

The results of apt-show-versions are similar for the other three packages.

Why does apt-get want to install the unstable version? Can I somehow get
apt-get to tell me how it makes its decisions?

NB: I've also tried pinning the releases to priorities 650 (testing) and 600
(unstable), but that didn't help.
