I think I screwed up DMA with new kernel

Greetings,

It appears that I have somehow messed up my DMA settings with my new kernel. I
have been unable to playback DVDs with the 2.4.20 kernel because of this. The
output below is from 'ogle --check' under a stock 2.4.18 kernel and my own
custom 2.4.20 kernel. I've spent several hours rereading every single help
entry available with make xconfig, as well as having searched tldp.org and
Google. I can't seem to turn up any helpful information on this.

Could someone point me in the right direction? Are there settings somewhere in
/proc for each device's dma? Why do get a message about ide-scsi under 2.4.20
and not 2.4.18 (both kernels have the ide-scsi module running)?

TIA,

-Roberto Sanchez
